These terms govern your use of TokenCost at costpertoken.xyz, a free LLM token cost calculator. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Estimates only
Every dollar figure on this site is an estimate from public list rates stored in a snapshot file. It is not an invoice, a quote, or a live scrape of a provider API. Cached tokens, batch discounts, thinking tokens, multimodal meters, committed-use contracts, taxes, and marketplace markups can move a real bill. Confirm prices on the provider’s official page before you commit budget.
No affiliation
TokenCost is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, Amazon, Meta, xAI, or any other vendor named in the calculator. Product names are used to identify publicly listed APIs.
Acceptable use
Use the site for lawful cost sketches and comparison. Do not attack, scrape in a way that degrades the service, impersonate TokenCost, or present our estimates as official provider billing. Automated access that respects robots.txt is fine; do not treat this site as a live pricing API.
Disclaimer
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We are not liable for decisions, losses, or overages that follow from using these estimates.
Changes
We may update rates, copy, or these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page is the stamp for this document. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
